REFUND POLICY
| COACH Rail Fares: • If ticket is exchanged for other ACES travel, customer receives 100% of value of ticket. • If ticket is refunded, customer receives 90% of value of ticket, Amtrak retains 10% of value, up to maximum of $100 for any refund transaction on any given booking. FIRST CLASS Accommodation Charges: • If canceled one hour or more before departure, same as rail fare Basic Policy. • If canceled within one hour of departure, or if not canceled (“no show”), accommodation charge may not be refunded but it may be exchanged at 100% value toward other ACES travel. • The non-refundability restriction (and refund fee) does not apply if passenger chooses not to travel because the train is one hour or more late at his or her boarding point. LOUNGE Accommodation Charges: • If canceled seven or more days before departure, same as rail fare Basic Policy. • If canceled within seven days of travel, but before actual departure time, accommodation charge may not be refunded but it may be exchanged at 100% value toward other ACES travel. • If canceled after departure time, or if not canceled (“no show”), accommodation charge is forfeited (no refund or exchange value). |
